Wasiq Khan

Wasiq Khan is the Team Lead for Influenza and Emerging Respiratory Diseases at WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean. Wasiq has worked in public health for the past 22 years holding staff positions with Government, private sector and the World Health Organization (WHO). At WHO, he has worked at country, regional office and HQ levels with assignments related to infectious diseases, immunization, country cooperation and multilateral coordination. Wasiq holds a PhD in systems readiness for influenza pandemic (UK), an MBA (PAK), MPH (UK) and is a member of professional societies in UK and US.
