Christopher Chadwick
Christopher Chadwick is a Technical Officer for Influenza Preparedness and Response in the Health Emergencies Programme at WHO Headquarters. Christopher has worked in epidemic and pandemic preparedness for over a decade, working previously with the United States Department of Health and Human Services, where he advised leadership on global influenza preparedness and response and other global health security issues, and the Association of Public Health Laboratories, where he worked with state and county laboratories to enhance their capacities to respond to biothreat agents and emerging diseases. At WHO, Christopher works on a range of issues, including R&D for influenza vaccines and other products, sustainable manufacturing, and virus sharing. He has an MS in public health microbiology and emerging infectious diseases and a BS in microbiology and chemistry.
